VETERAN ASSISTANCE

Supporting Our Nation’s Heroes - Emergency Support

MilVet donates $1,000’s worth of supplies and countless volunteer hours to help local veterans in need. We also assist active duty servicemembers, local units, and local nonprofit organizations dedicated to supporting our military community.

Through community partnerships we have helped veterans with housing repairs, vehicle/utility assistance, and more.

If you know someone in need of emergency support services, please apply here: www.milvet.org/assistance. This does not guarantee assistance but will designate a caseworker to review your request, based on availability of funds.

When our water was shut off by the City of Hemet, we didn’t know where to turn. My wife and I were facing an overwhelming situation with no immediate resources to resolve it. That’s when we reached out to MilVet—and they came through in a way we will never forget.
Not only did MilVet respond quickly, but they also treated us with dignity and compassion. Within a short time, they provided the assistance we needed to get our water turned back on. Thanks to their support, we were able to restore a basic necessity and regain a sense of normalcy in our lives.
MilVet isn’t just a veteran-focused nonprofit—they’re a lifeline. Their dedication to helping veterans and their families in times of crisis is nothing short of remarkable. We’re forever grateful for what they did for us, and we hope others in need will reach out to this incredible organization.
Thank you, MilVet, for standing by us when it mattered most.
